It's not advertised, but Circuit City just lowered their price on the visioneer 2400u scanner to $49. This is the same scanner Staples blew out over the weekend at $59 with rebates, bringing the price down to $9. PM with Circuit City using Staple's 14 day price guarantee to make the scanner free.

Go to Circuit City website - search for Visioneer 2400u. Print out page - take to Staples for PM.

NightShadow, or anyone else for that matter, do you know if PMing with Staples would void my 20 dollars rebate with them, or with Visioneer.

Thank you :)

Shouldn't void the rebate if you price match. However, I was under the impression that staples would not price match if their after rebate price was cheaper than the competitors price. But if this is a manufacturers rebate maybe you can talk around it.

If you have Student Advantage card, you can get it for free without pricematch. ($10 off $50 OR $5 off $25 with the card)

I've got one of those Student Advantage cards, how do I use it? Can I bring it to the B&M? Does Staples still have the rebate?

Let me know, I might just hop over there today.... :)

The problem is both rebates ( $20 and $30 ) state product must be purchased from Staples.

I just got back from Staples, No problems with PM. Rebates shouldn't be void if you had them make you to copy's of original receipts for the rebates, they still say 59.99 ;-)

Just something I'm wondering about. On my Visioneer rebate it says: "Purchase must be made between 2/4/01 and 2/10/01, yet Staples was running this as a President's Day sale. Did I get an old form or does Staples hope Visioneer will just overlook the sale date?

Thanks,
telstar

NightShadow and wjones: great call

Just hit my staples and there were tons of them. Did the pricematch and student advantage, should be getting $8 back when this is done... :)

great call indeed guys :D

Do you guys think they'll pull their corporate crap and claim that since the sale was combined with another 'offer' or 'promotion' that it would void the rebates?

Anyone?

cheers :)

Staples would not price match this because one is 36 bits 2400u and one is 42 bits 4200. :(

Got the PrimaScan Colorado 2400 scanner tonight at Staples. They couldn't find the Visioneer and said this was the same thing????? They gave me a $30.00 primascan (manufacturer) rebate and a $20.00 visioneer (staples) rebate. I'm hoping they work. The Model # for the visioneer is the same as the PrimaScan. But i'm not so sure about the sku. Anyone have any ideas?? At the very worst, I get the scanner for $20.00. Still hoping to get it free.

Thanks!!!!

Are you being serious when you say these things are very quiet? Mine is very loud.

Yo, can somebody put up a copy of the $30.00 rebate? My staples said there weren't any when I went there and I just got the $20 one.
