I have brand new Levi jeans that have a dark blue color. How do I change it so that it has a strong faded look?

Put them on the floor and rub your bum on them until you get the desired look. Apply soothing lotion to bum after sessions

Well, washing them 4 times in a row with bleach won't do it, tried that today, same problem :)
Maybe more bleach.....

Some of the tricks in the "old" days were to bury them, or drag them through gravel. Unfortunately, the jeans aren't made quite as well these days so I don't know if they'd survive these torture tests ...

Fill your (school's / town's / mom's) dryer with rocks and throw the jeans in for four hours on tumble.

ROTFLAO - I didn't think I would get this much response! (silly and otherwise)

Okay, okay, okay. After reading all the responses this morning, I used 1 cup of bleach, put the dials to medium volume, warm water, and regular washing cycling. Well, that conservative approach only faded the jeans a little. So, I tried again, but this time I boldly put 2 cups of bleach and washed the jeans again. Unfortunately, there are now two BIG white spot on the jeans! ROTFLAO. :p Other than the two distinct white spots, the jean is much lighter.

So, the lesson learned here is:

Wash the jeans at least four times, but for each wash combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of bleach. Mixing water and bleach will help dilute the bleach. My washer has a separate container that is designed exclusively for bleach pouring. Apparently, when I put
two cups of bleach, the washer probably couldn't handle the large amount of bleach and so it "squirted" rather than "diluted" the bleach.

It's too late for me to get a return on the jeans. I bought these jeans many months ago, and my taste has changed since then. I like to wear lighter jeans now.
