How to make network folder sharable but hidden

Hi guys, I'm trying to make a couple folders on my home workgroup shared but hidden from anybody else to see. The folders are not on my C: drive so I can't just put them in my shared folder and mark them as private and I can't make them private any other way I know, so what do I do? Is there a program to manage network folders or a workaround in XP?

You can rename the Share with a "$" at the end of its name. That will make the share "relatively" invisible. Casual browsers won't see it.

If you actually need SECURITY with this share, I'd recommend upgrading to XP Professional and uncheck "Simple File Sharing". It's designed to do things like this.
