When I was a kid my parents use to go to Vegas all the time and we use to always stay at Circus Circus. For those of you who have never been to Vegas, Circus Circus is a casino with a 24 hour circus. My parents would give me and my siblings about $50 dollars and say go and play at the circus for the day. Fifty dollars would be for food and entertainment for about 8 hours which goes really quick. Of course, after all your money is gone things get really boring. So, I worked out a scheme to amuse myself and make a few bucks.
When you have nothing better to do for 8 hours except play circus games you learn a few tricks and I got good at a number of the games. The principles of applied physics and lots of practice also help. I got to the point where I could win a giant sized stuffed animal for less than $10 and eventually I got so good that I could win the same animal in less than $5 dollars.
OK, so here's how you make money. Take the stuffed animal and walk around. Before you know it at least one person will offer to buy it from you because they want to impress their girlfriend, give it to their kids or even buy it for themselves. Now a lot of the stuff animals can be bought in the stores for up to $100+. I would average about $50 for the big stuffed animals and even got up to $75 for some of the rarer stuffed animals.
Of course, discretion is important so you don't get in trouble for soliciting but I never had to approach anyone because they would always approach me. After a hard day of playing, eating, shopping and meeting girls I would still have about $100 dollars at the end of the day. After a couple weeks at Vegas I could save up to $500. For a young kid that was like being a millionaire.
Of course, my parents eventually caught on when they found a bunch of money in my pocket. A couple of hundred dollars in small bills can look like a lot of money. (Why do parents automatically think you stole it or that you were gambling???)
So that is how you make money in Vegas under the age of 21, legally without gambling. Also, if you need any tips at any of the games let me know.
