How to make it so windows doesn't automatically install drivers

Hello, I am wondering how do I make it so when I uninstall lets say a video card driver that when i restart my computer that windows wont automatically reinstall the drivers again? Anyone know?
 
I believe if you go to the Inf folder in the windows directory and can indentify the inf file associated with the device you may be able to prevent this is you delete the inf file.
