Here in the Colorado front range our snowiest months are usually March and April, with the last of it usually by mid-April. This year, since the beginning of March we had exactly one day of snow, with no more than a few flakes. I probably shoveled snow only two or three times this winter. It was the mildest winter I can remember.

So the other day I'm cleaning out my car and see the snow brush and ice scraper and think "Hell, it's almost May" so I put them in the garage. And today it snowed enough that I had to dig them out again to clear off my car.

I love snow and winter but it seems that it may be coming to an end.

I hope you built a snowman.

I learned to NEVER put a way snow related equipment. The minute you do that, it triggers a snow storm, it really does not matter what time of year it is. I've seen it go below zero in july. that's not fun when you're tent camping and you anticipated being too hot and purposely got the thinnest sleeping bag you could find.

But yeah this winter was messed up here too, we barely got snow and when we did it kept melting. Kept flip flopping between cold and hot. Barely even used my snowblower. What sucks is it broke down and I paid someone to come pick it up and fix it as it was too cold to work on it in my unheated garage. Well I never ended up needing it after that. Had I known I would have just troubleshooted it myself once it's warmer.
