How to make .ISO??

Hey.. I have CDRwin and I have adaptec EZ cd creator.. can I make an ISO image out of a CD with either of these? Thanks.

Why? If you're a mod then lock the damn thread, I'm tired of people pointing out the obvious. I know where the software forum is and I put it here, ON PURPOSE. You don't want to help then just shut up.. otherwise help a guy out.. isit so hard? I happen to think that this is related to general hardware.. I'm burning a CD, with my CD burner, which is a peice of HARDWARE. Can someone give me a simple answer or just a quick one or something.. I'm in a rush and all I needed was a little help, thanks.

Your method of thinking is a little off base. In fact this thread has NOTHING to do with hardware. I would have expected more from a Golden Member. I guess we should also allow other software issues to remain in this forum since a piece of hardware can be associated with its use. Now that I think about it, I am having a problem with IE 6.0 not refreshing pages properly. After all the software is working off of my hard drive.

i have used cdrwin40a to create iso once before. but can't do it in nero5.5.

I just create an image with Nero and rename the .nrg to .iso

They're the same thing AFAIK...

You are asking how to use SOFTWARE 😉

For EZCD5, compile a CD as if you're about to burn it, and click File>Create CD hard disk image. It will give you the familar dialog box prompting for a location to place the image file. Make sure to click the extension option at the bottom and change it to ISO instead of CIF. For CDRWin 3.8, choose the tool that has a CD with an arrow to the disk, and the box that pops up will be pretty much self-explanatory. If the CD does not have copy protection, you can leave everything at default.
