I heard in this forum saying that people use IPX for file sharing and TCP/IP for internet sharing that people must not use TCP/IP for file sharing because of hacking issues. How to make that system work like that??

How? Please people help me out here.

Thanks

Unless you need IPX for some old game, you better off installing TCP/IP and NetBEUI (both on Win CDROM).

Bind your TCP/IP to the NICs, make sure that FileSharing, and make Default Protocol are Unchecked.

After installing NetBEUI, Bind it to the NICs, Check it as Default Protocol, and enable File and Printer Sharing for NetBEUI.

You need tcpip installed to get ICS to work. I think ICS needs to setup internal IP's to route everything.
