How to make Firefox scroll capability like IE?

My major drawback to Firefox has always been the jerky scrolling and that it doesn't scroll as fast as IE. I've tried extensions and tweaking several times in the past, and only had a moderate improved. On version 1.0.6 does anyone have any recommendations they'd like to make?

It scrolls just fine on mine. I'm using the 1.5 beta version though.

turn on smooth scrolling, and since it doesn't go as fast as IE, you'll have to up the page-per-click count in mouse properties

Method 2 that i just came across:

Go to about:config

Search for mousewheel.withnokey.sysnumlines - set it to False, "which makes Firefox use its own setting instead of the system-wide setting."

Search for mousewheel.withnokey.numlines - set it to the number of lines you want to scroll.
