how to make boot disk for win xp?

If you have a floppy drive a then put a disk in and select format: then check the box that says to make it dos bootable. I have used this dos boot disk to flash the motherboard and it worked with out any problems. You can also use a win98, me disk.
 
Just to clear that up. With a disk in drive a , right click drive a, then select format from the menu, then check the dos bootable box , then format.

Just curious. What does it say when you boot with that disk?
