how do you do it? do you really need good cooling or do you need a good model of your athlon? mine is at 175x12 at 1.70v.

I just got rid of my Samsung 2700, installed some HyperX 3500, and bumped voltage to v1.725

You need either good PC2700 or PC3200 RAM, and a motherboard that can handle the speed. Try bumping up the VDIMM to 2.7 or 2.8V and see if that helps.

EDIT: Good luck with that motherboard, the KT400 chipset doesn't support a 400MHz FSB, and your generic RAM complicates things. Try running at 170x13 or another combo that's around 2.2GHz, and still stable.

need at least a PC3200 Ram in order to hit 200 FSB
i dunno about XP2500 voltages

but my XP2100+ is @ 1.750 Vcore in order to touch 211 X 11
using SLK-900 and 92mm Panaflo H1A
so I am getting like 38 C at load..

then again, Fall is a lot cooler than summer;)

You may also be one of the lucky ones that don't have to increase the vcore for stability.

You have to have a motherboard that supports 400 Mhz. Like the nforce 2. You also need Pc3200 or DDR400 Mhz rated ram.

200 x 11 is 2.2 Ghz. 200 is the FSB, which is what you want. Don't mess with the vcore to much, if your computer can't boot @ 200 CPU clock x 11 Multiplyer then increase the v core.

How can't you make 1.75v?

If your lacking the memory area, bump your mult. to 13.

Also, adding a little extra juice to your memory (2.8v) will help for added stability.

Good Luck, and keep and eye on temps.

bji112 what kind of cooling are you using on your cpu that has athlon 1700+ @ 2400MHZ ?

He can't get a 200MHz FSB on a KT400 chipset. Without a PCI\AGP lock, it's not happening.
