He hooked up the strings to a wall outlet, still laughing at this. Well worth the sound

It's his schtick. He screws around with all sorts of electrical things and shocks himself, or makes it appear he's shocking himself, in order to gain YouTube fame and profit.
The first one I saw, I think he popped a few capacitors. I chuckled, but it gets old fast.
