How to make AGP 4X work on VIA 694 and GeForce2 MX???

Anybody know? I use reference driver Detonator 6.27 on Abit VH6, I can't make AGP 4X work even when I put enable VIA AGP 4X on the registry.

Double check the location and key in the registry. It works just fine on mine. You might have done it wrong in the registry is my only guess. Wait, when you installed the via agp drivers did you specify "turbo" mode? Might have something to do with it also. Try reinstalling them. Check in your bios also to see if there is a setting that needs adjusting. Im not familiar with the Abit bios. The A7v has a setting for "normal=2x" or "optimal=4x" for the agp.

Thanks, but I did every step like you said and for sure I set AGP 4X on BIOS, there is option for auto or 1X 2X or 4X but still didn't work, same thing happen with my MSI 6309 but for Gigabyte AGP 4X work just fine in both slot 1 and socket version.

Any advice?

Try downloading NVTWEAK and set it to 4x. I couldn't get it to work until I used this.

Thanks, finally I realized I put wrong registry value, instead of 1 I put 0.
It's work fine now.
