How to make a WAP site?

I'd like to make a WAP version of an existing site of mine. Is there an easy way to go about doing this or do I have to recreate the entire site for wap?

Same with email. My host provides web access along with POP access. If they don't offer a wap version of email, is it possible to install something to access my email on a phone?
