How to make a stand-alone CD burning tower?

I've been looking at these CD duplicating towers with 5 or so CDR drives in them that can copy CDs in bulk. I was wondering if there is any way to make one of these yourself, and what all you would need?

Or if not is there anything I should look for in buying one?

Put a couple in the Tower then hook up 3 external's and use a multburning program like Nero, then Burn on the fly

Look under plextor on ebay. They made tons of them. They're dirt cheap now and if nothing else you might salvage the case if the drives are too slow for you.

I suggest just buy a dedicated CD duplicating tower, it is well-designed solely for this purpose and properly tested
you may have more problem if you make one yourselves

That's what the plextors are...
