I need to make a poll.....what do you prefer example a, or example b....i don't want it to be easily hacked, it would obviously throw results off...preferably no flaws like in the AT rating system, ;)

EDIT: i mean just a regular poll...like an at poll, but seperate and by itself on a website

If anyone knows can u pm me? thx

You could do what I do on my site: every time someone votes, you add their IP address to a list of people who have already voted. The problem is that anyone with dialup can just disconnect and reconnect, and skew the poll that way. AOLers don't even have to do that, since every request comes from a different IP.

Another possiblity: Require cookies. The problem here is that some people with overzealous security settings and/or ad blockers will be unable to vote.

Yet another possibility: Require registration. The problem is that no one will want to register just to vote in your stupid poll.
