HOW TO MAKE A LIVING?

Maybe it doesn't have to do with technologies, but without money we cannot buy them.
I'm writing cause i want to know how to make a living?. I believe in oppourtunities, and i know everyone in life has a niche, that he or she will make their living.
However as junior in university, I'm a tad unsure how i can survive in the real world. Credits card is FAKE POWER. The more we use the worst the debt gets.

I'm a web developer right now. I can build Great looking sites, but is there a market for that still? I'm doing a site for a technology company, but I just very unsure if Internet of today still there is a market to make money? I'm also an very amatuer/pro photoshop/graphic person. I'm learning alot of stuff, but all of them appear to create an unsuresness in my mind as to whether i can make a confortable living with it?

What kind of proffesion do anandtech readers has? i'm curios to know, cause i see the latest technology come out(ps2, xbox, geforce 4, .....) and I say to myself should I debt myself to be happy? I say no, cause this won't make me happy when the next version comes out, but still you want to be able to afford it.

SO HOW DO WE MAKE A LIVING?

Well, I guess my forum handle pretty much gives me away 🙂

You say you are a "junior in university"; are you majoring in computer science? If that's the field you want to work in (and it sounds cool to me), then I'd take a look at computer security. I'm thinking there'll be a lot more interest/demand in this area than in web design in the next few years. If your major is not related to anything you really want to do, then maybe you should change it; you can also consider getting an advanced degree in a more desireable field (which might not be that bad an idea if the job market will still be depressed for the next year or two).

Good luck!
