1. Forget about it
2. Buy a router
3. Profit

It's way more trouble than it's worth to share access via the PC, and it'll also let you use the laptop wirelessly (assuming it's capable). Plus, it'll get your PC out of the network perimeter. 😛

Well, I'm using cable, but for right now, my wireless pci card for my desktop, I think, may be complete crap. Its software is detected as spyware for my computer and doesn't receive signals well, sooooo...before I get another PCI card or something I want to see if this configuration is possible
