How to make a bootable flash drive?

I need one to bootup in order to flash my BIOS, and I don't have a FDD. I googled a little and the procedures I found all required a FDD and a floppy disk, which kinda defeats the purpose. Is there any way to make a bootable flash drive without a floppy?

HP has a utility that makes creating a bootable flash drive easy (it works with most drives, not just HP ones)

Thanks. I downloaded/installed that utility, and tried to run it. I checked the "Create a DOS startup disk" and only the "using DOS system files located at:" radio button was checked, while the other was grayed out. Where are the system files located at?

Also, any benefits to using FAT32/NTFS over the default FAT file system with flash drives?
