How to make 1 windows option?

Just reinstalled windows for a good friend, however before windows loads now theres 2 options for 2 different windows xp.
Only one of them works though and im wondering if theres an easy way to remove that option so i dont have to see that screen?

go to your control panel then onto performance and maintenance and then to system click on the advance tab then go to startup and recovery settings once that opens click on the edit button to edit the startup options.
