How to look up old wow character

Had a character on the original played for about a year after release and sold my account on ebay. Any way to look up character stats? Just curious what happen

If the person has been active somewhat recently and hasn't changed server and/or name you could try the armory on the wow homepage.

they probably have not logged on in 6< months, or renamed the chara.

Your character is probably still there in the game database, but they take them off of the public Armory if you haven't been paying lately.

I played vanilla, then took a few years off. None of my old characters were listed. I don't think there even was an Armory back in those days. Later, I reactivated for a two-week trial and then my characters showed up once I started playing again. Screenshot the pages if you want to see them after your sub runs out.

In your case, you'd have to track down whoever has your account and maybe re-activate with a Scroll of Resurrection.

Only infos I know you can still dig up on old characters is Warcraf Realm.
I look up my characters on there occasionally, to reminisce about the good times.

wowprogress does have a character tracker, but the last time I used it, it kinda sucked. There are better ones out there but you have to use google to find them.

There isn't any official way; maybe the person even deleted the char; who knows!

pretty sure their tracker stopped working for most of Wrath, IIRC it never tracked correctly after naxx
