How to Locate Where to take Voltage Readings in a Motherboard?

I've been a member for quite sometime just lurking around in the background and this is one thing that I really need to learn how to do hence, my first post! We're starting a review site here in the Philippines, in fact, I've already made a couple of motherboard reviews (Asus Maximus II Gene, Asus Crosshair III Formula) but I would like to include actual voltage readings with a digital multimeter rather than just referring to software readings. I've already tried contacting major review sites including Anandtech and so far, no response. :( Can anyone point me to the right article? Or perhaps a tutorial how to locate the readpoints? I'm using a Gigabyte EP45-UD3R and I would like this board to be the first guinea pig :) Also, are there risks associated with this?

IF you have to ask, you probably should not be doing it. Check XS forum if you want to see photo's of how it is done.
