How to load XP Pro on computer?

MODS: I'm really sorry for the repost, but I need to get this thing to work before 2100 so it can format/install overnight.

Here goes.

A coworker's computer will not load XP on P5ld2 with a Pent. D 2.8 w/ 2 sticks of crucial ballistic 512mb ram.

Right after going through the usual setup, it will say 'Starting Windows' on the main setup screen (Blue DOS, gray line on the bottom), then it will BSOD and restart.

Right now it won't boot, but BSODs right before starting. So far I haven't been able to get any graphics, just DOS-type text. I really doubt that there's a problem with his video card, but eh. Anything's possible.

Anyone help!

Why do you guys think this is?

I've had that idea for the past few minutes since it sounds like a RAM problem, but it's just a gut feelign as of now.

Experience, soldier.

Go pull that ram before we make you drop and give us 100. 😀

SIR YES SIR!

Actually, I just pulled one stick and it seems faster for some reason 😕
