How to load new fonts?

My dad has been using his computer at work and uses the Excel there. I recently built a computer for him, and he has been using it. He used the font Brush Script at his workplace, but it is not loaded on his computer at home. How do you load new fonts and where would you go to do this? I tried looking around on the internet but couldn't find anything about how to load new fonts to programs. Any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. 🙂

You don't need to "install" them as such.

Take the font file (either .ttf or .fon) and put it in your C:\WINDOWS\FONTS folder. The font should now be available for use in your programs (such as Excel).

This url: http://freepages.history.rootsweb.com/~jmohney/brush_script_font.htm lets you download the font and also gives "install" info.
