How to load BOIS Update without affecting the hardware!!

Hi all,

i am afraid i have ran into SATA problem one more time, my comp has crashed due to some ugly SATA problem which nvidia 680i MOBO's have at this moment.

Error "Invalid system disk, please replace the disk and press enter"

i have changed the SATA slots still no result

so can any one tell me how to do a bois update with out affecting my hardware??

i cannot afford a replacement as i have bought the board from US and i am in INDIA!!

Please do address this issue, my previous question was left unanswered i dont know why??

but hoping to get an advice before trying it out myself..
