how to link geocities pages?

I just made a simple html webpage, and uploaded it to geocities. Now how do I link it so other people can go to it, say from their email. In IE, if the link doesn't work, I can just copy and paste, and that usually works. Now I tested it out in netscape and Mozzilla, and it didnt work.

I copied the link to the adress bar at the top, and the browser just acted kind of like a search engine. It didn't take me directly to the page.

So how do I do it?

You don't.

Geocities has their site setup so that any links that come from a non-Geocities reffering URL get sent to a 404 page, or at least with images, iframes and so on. The only way you can do it is to link to an index page or something as far as I know. It's really, really lame.
