at least this one isn't about my sound card 😉

at work here I am trying to let a win98SE computer print to a HP printer connected locally to a WIN NT4 computer.
Is there any way this could be done? or do they both have to be NT4?

Also how do I set the file permissions to access data on an NT computer. when I see the computer in network neighborhood and click on it, it asks me for a password. butthere are only 2 for that macine and neither works.
what do I do?

Share the printer on the NT4 machine, then add it as a network printer from the 98 machine.

Add an account on the NT machine for the user logged into the 98 machine or enable the guest account (Control Panel > Users or something of the sort).
