How to know that the MX700 is recharging?

I got my mouse OEM without any batteries.. Loaded it up with a set of fully charged NiMh batteries and got a LOW BATTERY message warning 3 days later.. Now it's resting on the cradle and I don't see any sorta indication that it's charging.. Everything is plugged in (including the AC adapter).. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Either you are completely dense or your mouse is messed up 😛

My friend's mx700 usually blinks when it charges.

Well, my mouse was blinking ever since I got the low battery power message- in other words, it blinks on or off the cradle.. Not a big deal.. I have 2 nimh chargers but the cradle's a nice convenience. Maybe I got a bum mouse/cradle..

the mouse will blink red when it needs charging....when in the cradle and charging, it will blink green. the light will turn off when the charging is done.

It will blink while it's charging, and when it's done there will be no light lit at all, blinking or otherwise. At least that's how mine is.
BTW, I didn't know you could by this mouse without the batteries. I thought they all came in that package with everything needed with it. Where'd you get it at?

I find that my mouse is solid green when it's charging and blinking green when it's almost charged. Haven't gotten to red yet. You should have gotten batteries in your setup.
