How to know if cooler will fit in mobo?

I'm getting a Biostar TF7050-M2 mobo for my Brisbane 3600+, and plan on OC'ing it. The mobo is mATX and I want to know how to check if I'll have any problems installing a Big Typhoon VX or a Zalman CNPS9500 cooler on it.

Some dude here has the Typhoon installed, but it looks like it may be blocking a couple of the ram slots, but its not clear.

Is there any sure fire way to see if everything will fit before making a purchase?

Thanks.

Looks like he has some fruity RAM cooler installed!

I wouldn't worry about it, unless you plan to do the same... 😉

I think the key here is the mb format which say is matx. It's probably too small for such a large cooler which blocks things on an atx setup. If you want to run a big cooler you might want to look at a normal atx mb. I personally run an enzotech ultra-x which is huge however it doesn't block things around the socket because of its height. You might want to do more checking before you purchase something that doesn't work on your application.
