i'm runninf winamp lite and w2k and disabled winamp agent as it freezes winamp half the time. but it still start up when i reboot. i keep on having to go in and kill the process manually, is there something i'm missing?

I'll have to try to disable it.

WTF is it for anyway? It certainly runs without it. I'm sick of all these little pieces of software that people throw into your system even if you don't want them. Sure it might take up 1 or 2% resources, but when you see people with about 15 of them, their 500mhz with 96 megs of ram is the equivalent of my P133 with 24.

I have disabled it and it doesn't seem to have made a difference. Does anyone actualy know what it does?
