Use Find to find the msdos.sys file. Right-click it and then click Properties. Click to clear the Read-Only and Hidden check boxes to remove these attributes from the Msdos.sys file, and then click OK.
Go to the MS-DOS C: prompt (you can use the MS-Dos shell)
Type: edit msdos.sys
Add the line LOGO=0 to the Options section.
Restart Windows.
Just so you know, you'll get rid of the logo, but it won't quicken the boot-up.
