I'm quite happy with this mouse (ZM-M350) from Zalman. However, I wanted to remove one of the led lights: not the DPI mode indicator light, but the annoying bright light which is always on. And I discovered that it's a really easy task, so I decided to share here some information.
In order to open the mouse without breaking it, this video (although made for another mouse) helped a lot:

LED1, the smaller one, is the DPI mode indicator, so you don't want to mess with it. LED2 (the big led which is on) is the led I want to kill.
Next steps:
(1) Unplug the mouse from the USB port;
(2) Use a small pliers to gently remove the led from the PCB.

Assemble the mouse again and it's done.
NOTE: I had to remove the led from the PCB because the heat was annoying me. If your problem is not the heat, but the light in itself, you can try an alternative solution.
