As most of you know, yahoo just start charging for POP3 and SMTP service on April 24th. Interesting enough, all the yahoo mails seem to be linked somehow no matter what country you applied for it. And the yahoo mail in Taiwan still provides free POP and SMTP service. I think servers in other country such as China might also be avilable. All you have to do is change your original POP and SMTP settings to the server in Taiwan as follow:
pop.mail.yahoo.com --> pop.mail.yahoo.com.tw
smtp.mail.yahoo.com --> smtp.mail.yahoo.com.tw
And you are all set! Keep using yahoo mail for free!
your email address stays the same!
