How to keep track of a thumb drive

My GF keeps leaving her thumb drive behind in labs and whatnot. What's the best way to ensure she doesn't leave it behind or lose it for that matter? She tried putting it on her keys but the keys are too heavy and I'd rather not have to secure a block of wood to it.

Mines on my keys, not that real big of a deal. have her put it in the same spot of her purse and put it there everytime?

smack her in the head every time she leaves it somewhere. hopefully eventually it will sink in to remember her shit.

or have a long lanyard attached to it so she can keep it attached to her backpack/ purse without having the weight be an issue. that way she literally cant forget it unless she also forgets her purse/ backpack. one girl i went to school with had a string attached to her td and her wrist that was about 4 feet long. that way, when she got up to leave it would remind her to get it off the computer and put it away.

one of these?

give her a USB floppy drive and some floppy disks, make her use that for a while and see if it improves her memory

That's why I always wear my flash drive around my neck.

do this and just give her a usb extension cable. drive stays on her neck, just plugs cable into pc. when she forgets and stands up to leave, cable jerks her neck, snapping it and killing her instantly, end of problem.:sneaky:

I got a dig. mem. card case from a woot-off BoC one time. When I saw it, I thought "WTF am I going to do with that garbage" Then I tried it, and love it. I use it for SD cards, for my two 16 gig work thumb drives and... even store a book of stamps in it. Fits nicely in a purse, especially if you carry a small purse as I do. Slim, small, yet not easy to lose. 🙂
