how to keep my crap synced up between laptop and desktop

is there any free, simple and non-frustrating way to keep the information on my desktop the same as on my laptop? basically i have outook 2003 on both systems, and when i make changes to one, i want that to show up in the other. can this be done through the internt somehow, and for free?
