How do I Install Win2k as a single boot OS. I have a new HD with no partitions on it and I want to use NFTS file system so how do i make a NFTS partition? do i need to fdisk?
how should I chop up my 20gig drive for maximum speed perfromance?
 
Just boot off your Win2k CD and it will ask how big you want the partition to be and you specify weather NTFS or FAT32. Just make one for the OS and once Win2k is all installed you can use Disk Management to make other partitions.
 
Once Windows is up and running, you can manage partitions as you wish, but you won't be able to expand the partition you installed on! Make sure you know your partition stragety before you start.
