how to install win2k on hd with little bad sectors?

I have a laptop and it has 5gb with 0.6meg bad sector.. and I can't install win2k, win2k said either my hd is not format or is damaged.. I install XP ok win98 no problem but when it comes to win2k it won't install. anyone know how to bypass it??

Have you tried a low level format of the drive?

low level it and the bad sector still there.. I used Maxtor low level thingy... it low leveled like 1 hour something found no error, but when I fdisk it, then format it, the bad sectors are found again

Symantec's ghost might work, But you will need an image specific to your hardware.
