How to install my wireless PCMCIA card in Ubuntu

I have purchased a PCMCIA wireless card for my Ubuntu equipped laptop. However, the installation CD does not contain any installation files for Linux, and I have no idea how to install hardware in Ubuntu, being a newbie and all.

Help please 🙂

Check the logs, you may not have noticed the change. Or they should provide hints as to how to get it working.
