Hi!

I bought a gateway MT3705 back in February with Vista installed in it. However, as of today, I decided to switch back to XP. I successfully installed the video card, graphic card, ethernet card, but am having trouble with my wireless card!

I installed the REALTECK 8185 and after I extracted the folder, I see the following files:
Netr8185.cat
netr8185.inf
rtl8185.sy

What do I do with these files? Where should I put them? How do I install these files so that my computer can detect that I have a wireless device in it?

Thanks for your help! =)

Put the files in a directory of your choice.

Make sure that there is No ghost installation, http://www.ezlan.net/faq#ghost

Reboot, when Windows asks for the drivers point to the directory with the drivers files.
