How to Install drivers in Ubuntu?

I'm a TOTAL Linux noob and I have Ubuntu loaded on a spare HD. Everything works great, except for the video. It defaults to 640x480. I googled and found the drivers but have no idea in how to install them.

Help!

The Unichrome stuff is.. uh, problematic under Ubuntu.

The best bet for you is to upgrade your system to Ubuntu 6.06 'Dapper Drake' version. It hasn't been released yet, unfortunately. But there is a Beta aviable and it should work pretty well.

See this thread:

See Ubuntu's website on how to upgrade, or you can reinstall the beta version. Which ever is easier.

Otherwise it's possible to install the drivers so that they'd work, but it's going to be a huge PITA.
