I've installed acronis true image home 11 CD creator, but I want to install the program that allows to read images. Problem is, it never lets me install it. Says it was interrupted, each time. Did some search and this is a common issue, but no source had an answer for it.

has anyone ever succeeded in installing it? Is there a way to bypass that and force it to install?

Uninstall TI 11 Home and start over. You have to install TI 11 before you can create the Rescue Media CD with it. Sounds like you are trying to install when it is already installed.

Have you visited the TI Forum? Acronis techs are present and do respond.

It is under Wilderssecurity.com.

Yeah tried uninstalling it. It all started with the demo, Ihad tried the demo to ensure the boot disc would work, but doing a full install would cause that same error so I just installed the media builder which worked.

So I uninstalled it completly, deleted all possible registry entries (well, the ones that let me, some said access denied) but it still does it. It asked me for the serial again so I put it in and did a full install, but same thing, with full version.

Fixed it.

Had to clear temp files. One of those things I think of first when I'm on the job and its not my PC, but took me a while to think of it with my own. :p In fact, its my first time clearing those in like, forever. Had 70MB of junk in there lolz.

Good move on the temp files. They can interfere with trying to "turn the page" and move forward. 70 MB is a significant pile of trash.
