I have a '95 integra that i'd like to install a spoiler to. someone is selling a used OEM one w/ brake LED lights for $40. I'd like to install myself but am afraid of messing up. can someone pls give me directions on how to install or a cheap place that does it? i'm in the bay area. thanks!

Depends on the spoiler. Some extremely cheap ones use 3m double stick tape. Any worth installing will require you to drill through the trunk lid

Learn to read. He's asking about how to install an OEM spoiler. Not some junk aftermarket parkbench.

You will need to drill holes in your hatch lid (coupe) or trunk lid (sedan). It's something that is best done by a professional.

I think you should take it to a shop because if you dont line it up correctly you're gonna have a f'd up looking spoiler.

im take it that you have a LS? and you're installing a GSR spoiler? PM me if you have any other questions.. im a proud owner of a 98GSR

Just take a lot of time and measurements and you wont have a problem. You will probably need to get some sort of all weather tape stuff and then drill the holes through the trunk. As for the LED I would think you just connect it to the brake light LED.

only rookies use duct tape.

Krazy Glue!! Use Krazy Glue!

It will stick that spoiler on real tight and look good too

w/ LED eh?
hmm...try to boil some rice until it becomes glue like, then use it to stick that spoiler.

i dunno...

Sheesh, WTF is wrong with you. Now you can't even have OEM spoilers on cars?

If you're not even sure where to start, I'd definately bring it into a shop to do the install.

WTF is Soylent Green from again?
SF author Harry Harrison's story "Make Room! Make Room!"

Oh, and some Charlton Heston movie.

Hmmm, OK I thought I heard about that somewhere else but it is so damn familiar.
No no no, it's from a Saturday Night Live skit.

Since the Charlton Heston movie came out (titled Soylent Green BTW), it's been one of the most-revealed spoilers. Futurama has worked Soylent products into many episodes, including the Iron Chef parody where Bender must use it as the main ingredient in the competition.

It's right up there on the spoiler top 10 along with the short story / tv epsiode "to serve man" where aliens arrive on Earth to help mankind. Except that "to serve man" . . . is a cookbook!!!!! eeek!
