How to install a .CAB file (Win7)?

fresh install of Win7 on dell laptop.
install of installing drivers one by one, I found this driver pack:

it's a .cab file.
cant install it.
im frustrated!

how do I install it?

Uhh, CABfiles are like ZIPfiles, you don't install them, you extract them.

Can't you double-click it, or right-click and say "Extract..."?

Generally these Driver Packs are designed for when you are designing a new deployment image and want to integrate all the drivers during the build process. While they can be used for a single install its not as easy to do.

If you would like the drivers that have the installers you would have to download them from the support site

Windows explorer from a fresh win7 install sees the files but lots of problem extracting.

Anyway, I extracted from desktop and put on flash drive.
Updated drivers ok.
