I am running Vista Home Premium 64 bit as host OS.
I installed Win 7 RC, 32 bit as a guest OS in VirtualBox 2.24.
I followed instructions I found on the web and
was able to install the guest additions allowing for full screen usage.
I allocated 2 Gb of ram, 128 ram for video etc.
Win 7 runs well as guest OS.

Installed Mint Gloria as a second virtual machine with same settings.
OS installed fine and runs well, updated and all is ok, until I try to
install guest additions. Can't get them installed on Mint running as the guest OS.
Tried Ubuntu 9.04 earlier with no luck either. Installed Ubuntu in Wubi, works great but
would like to run Mint with additions installed so I can just bounce back and forth
with host OS but can't get guest additions installed in Mint 7 virtual machine. Any help would be appreciated.

I know this works for Ubuntu not certain on Mint. When running Ubuntu click devices from the Virtual Box menu list and select install guest additions. It should mount the CD on your desktop. Double click to open the disc and copy the VBoxLinuxAdditions-x86.run file and paste it in your home directory. Once it's in your home folder open a terminal session and type this command: sudo sh VBoxLinuxAdditions-x86.run. You will have to provide your password and from there you should be set.
