how to increase MIC volume on my GA-965P-DS3

In ventrilo, Teamspeak, CS, BF2, my mic is SUPER quiet.

I dont even see any options to turn it up in the audio toolbar or with the little program the motherboard has to turn it up.

Ther are no mic options! Anyone else have this issue?

Tried the latest software from the manufacturer of the device (rather than mobo)?

Doesn't BF2 and other apps sport their own config & testing for mic levels?
