Ok I just got a Panasonic SDR-H40P, and I'm at a loss for importing videos. I can copy and paste .MOD files which play fine, but they look squished, making people seem thinner and taller.
There are also .MOI files on the camera but I'm not sure what they are.
I can kep them to play in a proper dimension with the software that came with the camera (it just sucks). But when I select copy to PC it still plays odd.
I hope I can get help with this here, and I hope it is a simple problem.
Here is the comparison, first is playing a .MOD file in Windows Media Player and the second is previewing files on the camera from the software that came with it (VideoCam Suite 1.0).

As is typical, I found my answer, even after googling for week...right when I post I always find it...it is so annoying...anyways I found it on Wikipedia. Which linked here which pointed me to SDCopy v1.99 Beta. It isn't perfect because it is beta but I guess I found my answer.
