OK, I know this is weird... a client needs this because he is leaving his office PC and needs all his e-mails in his Outlook .pst file into Mdaemon Server so he can access them with WorldClient, Mdaemon's Web Mail Server.

How can I do this is the question.

I thought perhaps importing all the mails into another software and server and then, get mdaemon to check the account in that server... smart, I know . Mommy keeps saying it all the time !

Anyway, the problem with that is which server allows importing from .pst or .csv (comma separated values)... or directly uses this types of files as it's database.

So any idea on how to do this will be appreaciated.

If you can't solve this problem, then simply get a $10 a month hosted Exchange mailbox and use Outlook 2003's "RPC over HTTPS" mode to upload the .PST content into the Exchange mailbox.

Once you've done that, you can access the emails (as well as contacts, calendars, and tasks) from the Exchange Server using Outlook, Outlook Web Access, or a Windows Mobile phone.

The easiest way would be to set up Outlook on a PC and connect the PST file. Configure Outlook to connect to the MDaemon server via IMAP (NOT POP3!!) and simply drag the messages to the folders on the MDaemon account via Outlook, creating custom folders as necessary.

Once that's done, all of it will be accessible via WorldClient and IMAP connection.

PS: MDaemon rocks! Been using it myself for the last 4+ years.

That sounds like a good solution.
