My new Radeon VE card install went fine, no problems reported in the install procedure. One monitor works fine. However, the 2nd monitor cannot be engaged, despite software otions that allow it, and remains dead in Win98SE regardless of what I do. Both monitors show the same info during boot -- until Windows begins, when the 2nd monitor goes blank.
Anyone play with Radeon VE for dual display yet and successfully get it going?
My computer is a brand new stable AMD T-bird 850 RAID-0 machine oc'd to 140x7 for 980, no problems in any way. A complete system check with Norton Systemworks 2001 shows up no problems at all.
No remnants of old video card software either...
Both monitors -- 19" Samsung and ADI -- work fine on my other machine in Matrox G400 Max DualHead mode.
Any tips would be much appreciated.
