I've just bought an OEM 9500 Pro. No matter where I look it does not specifically state that this is a Pro....so how can I be sure it is and not just a Non-Pro? Is there any programs or tweaks that I can use to verify this card is a 9500 Pro?

look around, I saw a site earlier today that laid out several of the 9000 series cards on the same page and showed you the memory layouts and resistors that can eb used for identification. It might have been on THG.

What's the memory layout? Is it' 2 one top 2 on the side? If so, it's not a 9500 Pro.

If all 4 on top, it's most likely a 9500 Pro.

Yes, the memory chips are all inline above the processor and at the back of the board. And they use 3.3ns Hynix BGA memory.

Budman:

Of course windows detects it but all it says is Radeon 9500 Series(does not say Pro or Non Pro)

Budman : Still no luck. The link was for cards made by ATI and cards that are just powered by ATI in my opinion are not shown.

Some specs I got by looking at the board:

3.3ns Hynix BGA memery chips
Core clock = 276.8MHz; Mem Clock = 270MHz(used Rage3d Tweaker)

There is one sticker at the back of the card near the DVI connector.
Stuff written on it is says FC-R9500DT-128D , Radeon 9500 128DDR DVI/TV, ( Barcode ) and finally 95030211431355. Is there anything here that points that this card is 9500PRO or otherwise?

The new revision of 9500np have 4 inline memory at the top.. you can still ask the sales guy from where you bought the card?

Do what Viper96720 said. Run 3dmark03

If it's a 9500pro you'll get ~ 3500
If it's a 9500np you'll get ~ 2500
