How to hook up video card to a TV?

I have a BFG 6800 GT video card. Right now it is connected to my computer via DVI cord. I am just curious what I need to do, to connect my video card to my Toshiba 27" television so I can watch movies off my harddrive on the televison instead of the computer monitor.

Hooked it up via svideo. Only question is. When I go into the nvidia control panel, and switch to TV, I cant go back to the monitor. The only monitor listed after switching to TV is the TV, I ahve to reboot and reinstall the nvidia drivers to get back using my monitor. Using 92.91 drivers.
